There is palpable fear not just in Ghana but the entire African as the continent’s masked investigative reporter, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, is about to name and shame fraudsters in government circles who embezzled funds donated for the fight against Coronavirus pandemic.
Though the fear is more intense in Ghana his home country where it is expected he will hit the government officials first, authorities in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa are aware of the undercover skills of Anas used to expose fraud in any part of the continent.
Recall that Anas and BBC Africa eye had already exposed illicit activities in Nigeria especially within the sport sector and University system, leading to the suspension of officials that were exposed.
The documentary on the corruption surrounding Covid-19 is set for release on Monday, June 29. That is the day the first investigation on Covid-19 quacks is set to be released. The second one is on stealing of Coronavirus resources which will name and shame those involved in embezzled funds meant for the fight against the pandemic.
