Anambra Girls Connect! COOU Big Girl Begins NGO

A student of the department of Mass Communication, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Vivian Ezeani, has co-founded a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) called Anambra Girls Connect.

The NGO which Ezeani co-founded with Onyinyechi Chigbu, is primarily aimed at supporting girls in Anmabra State in the area of skill acquisition and empowerment with a view to preparing them for a bright future.

Ezeani who spoke to massmediang said Anambra Girls Connect was set up to give the Anambra Girl a positive push to take charge of her future.

She said the NGO has embarked on a free skill acquisition training for girls in the state which began on Thursday, November 1, and would be rounded off on Saturday November 3.

The NGO is visiting various secondary schools in the state to train girls while the grand finale of the training will take place at the State Library on the 3rd of November.
