In Early Marriage Age is Nothing But a Wahala! 17-Year-Old Girl Weds 18-Year-Old Boy In Abia

This may sound alien to Igbo culture but it happens sparingly. One of those rare moments happened in Aba, Abia State where the uncommon was witnessed by many – a wedding of teenagers. Some people who reacted to the post are saying that early age could be a deceptive time to engage in a serious business such as marriage. But the teenagers believe love is stronger than age. An 18-year-old boy, got married to the “Love of his life” in a ceremony that happened in Aba, Abia State.

A Social media user who is a  cousin to the “groom” shared the photos on Facebook, while wishing her “kid bro” well.

She wrote:

“D lord doing …..join me to celebrate d newest youngest couple in town….am so glad you guys said I Do today…God bless your marriage my amiable kid bro…. Enjoy…”

Some people who reacted to the post described the two of them as immature for wedding.
