7 Students Injured in Car Accident

Not less than seven students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu uNiversity COOU) have sustained serious injuries in a ghastly car accident which took place on Monday, February 27, along the University road leading to Igbariam junction.

The driver of the school shuttle was said to have lost control of the vehicle when suddenly he noticed he could no longer see clearly as a result of dust; automatically the vehicle had entered the bush, knocking itself on, and pulling down the nearest electric pole around as according to one of the victims who sustained only a minor injury.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Fidelis Okafor who visited them at the hospital, expressed gratitude to God since no life was lost.
