11-year-old boy killed by Suspected ritualists in Bauchi, his brain r*moved

An 11-year-old boy named Muhd Yunusa was on Saturday, November 20,  killed by some suspected ritualists and his brain r*moved in Dutsen Kofar Wambai area in the Bauchi metropolis.

According to Nigerian Tribune,  the attackers had called the boy and his friend who are Almajiri pupils.

They were going about begging for alms when the killers lured them into a dark corner pretending that they wanted to give them something.

Sadly, the ritualists sm*shed the skull of the boy, r*moved his brain and left.

Fortunately for the other boy, he managed to escape from the attackers and informed the residents about what was happening.

Upon reaching the scene of the incidents, they found the dead body of the pupil and called the police.

Speaking about the incident, SP Muhammad  Ahmad Wakil, the spokesperson of the Bauchi State Police Command, revealed that the “police received a distress call from a good Samaritan that unknown persons have used a stone and broke the skull of an Almajiri pupil.”

“The two Quranic school pupils are Muhd Yunusa 11 years and Aminu Yusuf 12 years.

They were deceived by unknown persons who used a stone to break the skull of Yunus and escaped to an unknown destination.”

 

When they received the call,  the police went to the scene of the incident and took Yunusa to the Specialist Hospital Bauchi for autopsy. He was confirmed dead upon arrival.

Going further, SP Muhammad revealed that Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, the State Commissioner of Police has directed the Divisional Police Officer DPO, A Division, to act with immediate effect.

According to him, he ordered that they should not leave any stone unturned and ensure they bring the ritualists are brought to book.

The PPRO went on to advise parents to monitor the movement of their children.

He added that they should not allow them to answer calls from strangers in the name of giving them something.
